Board of Health

Purpose

Advisory board to the City Council; may make recommendations on matters pertaining to public health of the city.

Meetings

The board generally meets the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd.

Members 2011-12

Consists of nine voting members; seat 1 and 2 are medical related. There are also a representative from the following professions act in an advisory capacity to the board and are ex-officio members: food products establishment manager, veterinarian, geriatric service administrator and a representative from the hotel/motel industry.
